Dr. Kimberly Khalsa Diaz
Kimberly Khalsa Diaz is a member of the teaching faculty in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. Her passion is teaching, where she has a strong commitment to both student success and a positive student experience. For the past several years, she has been leading the effort to revise and improve EECS 203: Discrete Mathematics, through a partnership with the Foundational Course Initiative. In 2024, she was recognized for her work with the Jon R. and Beverly S. Holt Award for Excellence in Teaching.
She attended the University of Michigan for both undergrad and for her PhD. She joined the faculty in 2017 and has experience teaching at a small liberal arts college in addition to U of M.
